He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with an MBA from Hofstra University. George started in the business with Merrill Lynch Commodities (1978 - 1983). At Merrill he attained the honor of 'Golden Circle' - one of Merrill's top ten commodity brokers internationally. In 1983 George founded Commodity Resource, based on the floor of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, to offer a more personalized level of service to traders (George also served for four years on the Board of Directors of the MGE). He has been highlighted for trading performance in national publications such as FORTUNE. George has been an Exchange member for over 25 years and is currently a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange, COMEX division. George has developed his own proprietary trading techniques and is the author of three books published by the Financial Times on commodity futures trading. In 1995 George moved CRC to the Lake Tahoe area and today trades from an office overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe.
